Alkoholio, tabako bei kitų psichoaktyviųjų medžiagų vartojimo paplitimas tarp Telšių „Džiugo“ gimnazijos moksleivių /

The prevalence of alcohol, tobacco and other psychoactive substances between Telšiai „Džiugas“ gymnasium pupils The purpose of this work was to analyze the prevalence of alcohol, tobacco and other psychoactive substances between high school students. There was formulated four tasks to achieve this goal. To analyze the peculiarities of consumption of alcohol, tobacco and other psychoactive substances by students from a theoretical point of view based on scientific literature. Also, to clarify and reveal the students' attitude towards the use of alcohol, smoking and other psychoactive substances. To investigate and compare the factors that can influence the frequency and specificities of the use of alcohol, smoking and psychoactive substances between schoolchildren of older school age students. Theoretical analysis revealed, that the use of psychoactive substances is a very topical issue as it is the cause of various organs or infectious diseases. Also, drug users are more likely to suicide, accidents or injuries. When analyzing literature, it was also found that the ages of students who start using drugs are slightly younger, which is why this is considered a major social and health problem. There was created closed type anonymous survey, consisting of 25 questions to make this research. Survey was presented to Telšiai „Džiugas“ Ist, 2nd, 3rd and 4th graders. The survey was attended by 102 respondents. Questionnaire included sections on smoking, alcoholic beverages, marijuana and hashish and other psychoactive substances. During the survey, it was investigated when, for the first time in life, how much and what psychotropic substances students used. It also assesses the various situations and problems that have occurred with the use of narcotic drugs. The results of the study showed that 11,5 % respondents of 1st graders and 15,4 % of 2nd graders regularly started smoke of 14 years old. In the last 30 days, even 11,5 % 1st grade students, 3,8 % 2nd, 36,4 % 3th and 32,1 % 4th grade students were totally drunk. The results also revealed that drugs such as ecstasy 1-2 times in their lives consumed only 4,5 % of 3th students. 1st, 2nd and 4th respondents did not use these psychotropic substances at all (100 %).
