Aim of the research: To evaluate the effect of physiotherapy, using the Schumann 3D platte, on the respiratory system condition in people suffering from pneumonia. The research involved 20 people aged from 51 to 68, who were diagnosed with lung inflammation - pneumonia. The people were divided into two groups, 10 people each: research group was subjected to an individual physiotherapy program involving the Schumann 3D platte, while the control group was assigned to a group physiotherapy designed for people suffering from respiratory system diseases. For each person in the research, before and after the physiotherapy program, measurements of vital lung volume using the spirometer were taken, as well as measurements of chest excursion and arterial blood perssure, also Shtange and Henchy samples were evaluated. In addition, arterial blood perssure was measured before and after each physiotherapy procedure. The subjects were evaluated twice: on the first and on the eighth day of the rehabilitation. The data was compared before and after the physiotherapy within the groups and between them. The mathematical statistical analysis of the research data was done using the \\\"SPSS Statistics 17,0\\\" program. Conclusions: After evaluating full body vibration's effect, using the vibrating platforms, on respiratory system condition in people suffering from pneumonia, it was discovered that all test results were significantly improved after the physiotherapy program. It was found that the vital lung volume, chest excursion, Shtange and Henchy sample results statistically significantly increased in people suffering from pneumonia, meanwhile arterial blood perssure - statistically significantly decreased. The improvement in researched indicated data was statistically significantly bigger in group I compared to group II. Therefore it is safe to conclude that the application of full body vibration, using the vibrating platforms, during the physiotherapy procedures, is more effective in improving the respiratory system condition for people suffering from pneumonia, than the regular physiotherapy.","abstract_html":"Bachelor study involves the analysis of scientific literature in a theoretical manner, analysing the effectiveness of physiotherapy and full body vibrations, using the vibrating platforms, on the change in the respiratory system function in people suffering from pneumonia.
