Mobiliosios VU programėlės kūrimas /

Number of mobile devices users is growing each year thus more and more attempts are being made to access multiple services using mobile device. Vilnius University is no exception because It has many services to be reached online but, unfortunately, only some are adapted to access using mobile device. The main object is to create Vilnius University mobile application for devices with Android operating system. Mobile Vilnius University application will have such functionality as timetables preview, will provide information about electronic services available in university, also will have section for frequently asked questions and information for freshmans. Furthermore, application users will be able to view points of interest such as nearest ATMs or canteens using integrated map and provide feedback for existing object or submit new point of interest. In order to provide mentioned functionality back-end server will be created to serve application with required data. Mobile application will be developed using Android Studio IDE and Java programming language. Google Maps API, Google Analytics, Android WeekView and SQLite database will be integrated also in order to provide mentioned functionality. Back-end server will be created using MySQL database and Django framework with integrated restAPI plugin.
