Abstract

dc:description

With the increasing number of devices, which have the ability to connect to the internet, also increase the risk of an internet attack against the users. It is necessary to secure every device with internet connection. Maingoalsofthisdocumentistointroducethesecurelinesystem. Systemsmainpurposesare to allow devices, which have the ability to run python code, to establish a secure communication line between them and to exchange data securely while assuring data security, integrity and confidentiality. To ensure best performance and security some of symmetrical encryption and hash algorithms were tested on Raspberry-Pi computer by analyzing their performance, speed and resource usage. Programs was based on conducted research of already existing data security methods and programs. By choosing the best combination of used resources, time spent and provided security three algorithms were chosen: AES for symmetrical encryption and SHA-256 for hash calculation. SystemwaswrittenusingPythonprogramminglanguageincombinationwithQtuserinterface creation library and PyQt wrapper to make a GUI based program. Main part of the program is based on Python sockets library to enable internet and Bluetooth communication between devices.
