Overall 25 workstations and 25 respondents participated in the study. Research and respondents’ survey were performed from January of 2017 till April of 2017. Evaluation of the workstation (desk, chair, computer’s screen) was performed and compared in accordance with the requirements of Lithuanian hygiene standards. Evaluation of body posture while working at the computer workstation was conducted using our own table, which was prepared in accordance with the principles of ergonomics, requirements of Lithuanian hygiene standards, provisions of occupational risk assessment. A questionnaire for evaluation of workers‘ health problems and ergonomic knowledge was developed. Data analysis was performed using statistical analysis programs: Microsoft Office Word, Excel, R commander. Percentage relations of obtained data was calculated and statistical relationship between the variables was established. Results and conclusions: 1. All (100%) investigated desks and chairs having adjustable mechanism did not meet hygiene standards. Ergonomic parameters of computer‘s screen corresponded to HN 32:2004 requirements, 2 workers (8%) did not keep safe distance between their face and computer’s screen. 2. Incorrect posture was determined for more than half (64.7%) of computer workers. 3. The relationship was determined between neck, back, upper arm, forearm, elbow, lower body postures and workstation. 4.
