With the rapid growth of the software development field, many different automated testing tools have also entered the market. For companies or teams choosing a testing tool, it can be difficult to make the right decision. The main goal of this work is to analyze the software testing process and selected testing tools, while trying to identify their main advantages and disadvantages. This work is composed of three main parts: an analysis of the main theoretical aspects, the research methodology, and the research results and their comparison. In the analysis of the main theoretical aspects section, concepts such as the software testing process, test automation, the use of artificial intelligence in software testing, and the main testing methods are discussed. In the research methodology section, the main research methods, research aim, and objectives are reviewed. This section discusses the most important aspects that influenced the research, such as the selection and definition of research evaluation criteria, the description of test cases, and the methodologies used for data collection and analysis. In the research results and their comparison section, the main research results obtained by practically testing software automated testing tools and gathering available information about these tools from various sources are discussed. In this section, the obtained research results are also compared, highlighting the niches, strengths, and weaknesses of each testing tool that was used. At the end of the work, several conclusions and recommendations are described. The author of the work believes that there is no single software automated testing tool that is better than other tools in most aspects and that each testing tool has its own niche.
