Ijime patyčių vaizdavimas anime: Koe no Katachi ir Sangatsu no Raion /

Ijime is a very common problem in Japanese society. Numbers of reported cases of ijime are increasing every year. Just only in 1980’s after TV and news publicity, various types of bullying were called ijime. In the 1980’s government changed the education system of teachers. After that change, teachers had to help students, listen to them and foresee potential ijime incidents. A lot of new acts, laws, documents and programs were invented to this day to prevent ijime but still the number cases are not dropping. One thing that helps spread the information about the problem is pop-culture. Books, manga and anime are those things that reaches younger people and that is one thing that could help them delve into this problem. Two anime that helped me do research about ijime in anime are Koe no Katachi and Sangatsu no Raion. Koe no Katachi is a movie that shows bully’s life when he is bullying and life how he feels after the bullying. After he gets bullied in the primary school, he understands the pain that he created and in high school he tries to get redemption from those that he bullied. In Sangatsu no Raion it shows us the life of a seventeen years old high school student that is a professional shogi player. Author shows us the challenges that he faces in shogi and in real life. His close friend Kawamoto Hinata gets bullied in school. He remembers the old times when he was bullied in school and when the Kawamoto sisters helped him cope with all the problems so he felt indebted to them, that is why he wanted to help. In Sangatsu no Raion we can see mostly psychological violence, when there is blackmailing, ostracism and mockery. The idea of this research is to investigate the types of bullying, the prevention types and character’s evolution in anime. As I said, it is a very common problem. Even the anime Sangatsu no Raion shows us that there are a lot of articles on the internet about bullying, but there are almost no articles that write about prevention of ijime, however, those prevention types do not help 100% every time.
