The thesis consists of three main chapters: an analysis of the scientific literature, a comparison of previous research and practical examples with a survey and analysis. The analysis of the scientific literature sheds light on the sharing economy and its emergence, the concept of consumer behaviour and its determinants. It also compares consumer behaviour in the sharing economy and in the traditional economy, their differences, and similarities. The second section, practical example are analysed on a similar topic, compares, and systematises it. Then analyses practical examples of Airbnb in Lithuania, legal challenges, and regulatory gaps. After identifying and comparing the theory, a quantitative study was conducted. The research was carried out to find out the most important factors that lead consumers to choose Airbnb services. A questionnaire survey was used for the quantitative research. Descriptive, comparative and correlation analyses were used to obtain the results. The results showed that the most important factors for consumers when choosing Airbnb services are safety, quality, price, reviews and recommendations, while the least important factors are dating and community. The conclusions and recommendations identify sharing economy users’ behaviour, practical examples, research comparison and the results of the study. The recommendations describe the author's suggestions for improving the study in the future.","abstract_html":"The aim of the bachelor’s thesis is to identify the determinants of consumer behaviour in the sharing economy (Airbnb case) and to compare the results with previous studies by the authors.
