Fintech sektoriaus vaidmuo šalies ekonomikoje: atvejo analizė /

This paper explores the importance of financial technologies (Fintech) industry for the nation’s economy, with a particular focus on it is impact on small and medium-sized enterprises. The theme of the work is how the 2008 global financial crisis has impacted growth of a new wave of financial technologies companies which are focused on providing digital financial services to masses. The services developed by these companies are, in fact, innovative and, in many aspects, a change from traditional financial practices. They provide digitally based services that are more efficient, convenient, and accessible, which are particularly important for small and medium-sized businesses. This becomes significant as banks have found it harder to lend after the 2008 financial crisis, and Fintech companies are filling these gaps by providing alternative financial services. In the paper it examined different types of Fintech services. The aim of the work is to examine the role of Fintech in nations' economies. What impact does Fintech industry do on countries. To achieve this target, it was set with three objectives: highlight the concept of Fintech and its role in the economy, justify the importance of Fintech to the economy, evaluate development of financial services and risks. Furthermore, does fintech is having a positive impact on the nation's economy by optimising financial services by lowering service cost and serving customers who would not have been served. Moreover, the Fintech industry is creating high paying jobs and efficiently allocating capital and serving by promoting sustainable growth. Lastly there was made linear regression analysis related to the fintech impact on countries real GDP. The results are provided in graphs and was answered to the hypothesis.
