The researches have shown that these diseases are associated with an elevated fat, saturated fatty acids, salt and sugar intake. In 1989, in order to prevent and reduce incidence of these diseases, authorities in Sweden proposed a nutrition label – the Green Keyhole, to make it easier to select low-fat, salt, sugar and high-fibre alternatives. These problems have also been observed in Lithuania, so in 2014 lithuanians were introduced with the Green Keyhole nutrition label. In order to achieve the knowledge about the composition of products labeled Green Keyhole, the tests were performed. Because of low selection of food products labeled Green Keyhole symbol, flour and cereal bran were chosen for the tests. A test to determine SFA, using GC, the amount of total fat and the amount of sodium, using FAA, were performed. The tests showed that some compositions of the products doesn't fit and have higher values of fat, SFA and sodium than the ones declared on the package.","abstract_html":"At the end of the 20th century Scandinavia observed a big increase of coronary heart diseases, strokes and a high cholesterol level in blood.
