Muzikos pedagogo kompetencijos ir jų plėtojimo perspektyvos /

Nowadays at school pedagogues are more actively involved into the planning and implementation of their institution‘s activities and processes of alternation. While developing pedagogue’s activity areas and changing the requirements of environment their expertise are becoming more and more important. The pedagogues of art subjects, including music, have especially solemn role here. They are not only pedagogues but artists as well. The profession of music pedagogue is specific because of the preparation that should start even from childhood. Music – exclusive art that requires deep theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Music pedagogue that does not have professional expertise will never be able to become an artist, who would be able to engage students with the subject of music. In this paper there are analyzed the theoretical aspects of music pedagogue expertise and competences of music teacher and tune of artistic expression. The aim of the paper – to reveal the peculiarities of music pedagogue‘s expertise and the perspectives of its development. To reach this aim there are the following goals: 1) according to pedagogical, psychological and other scientific literature resources reveal the concept of pedagogue‘s competences; 2) to analyze tune of music teacher‘s competences and artistic expression; 3) to identify nowadays aspects of music pedagogue competences and perspectives of competence development. The following methods were used in this paper: analysis of the analyzed topic‘s pedagogic and scientific recourses, consideration of the results, interpretation, questionnaire for the pedagogues. In order to identify aspects of nowadays pedagogue’s competences and perspectives of their development there was done an empirical research. 42 respondents participated in the survey – music pedagogues from districts of North Samogitia region. The research showed that competent teacher is the best example for the class. Personal example as well as competence is not invariable combination of personal qualities. This is a dynamic self view created for yourself and others. If this view is properly created, it has a huge educational value.
