In today's age of information the media space has expanded together with its minors affects. Adolescents are more pervious to the television impact, due to an insufficiently formed system of values, at the same time identifying life reality and artistic creation. Watching the aggression of movie heroes, adolescents may develop a tendency to delinquent behavior and than use it in real life: interacting with teachers, their peers, other members of society. In order to reduce the formation of delinquent behavior of social educators uses various methods (individual, group and work with family) and forms (chat, games, discussions, etc.) of social work. Research problem - what is the approach of social educators to programs, which can potentially form delinquent behavior? What preventative methods and forms of delinquent behavior are applied by social educators in their professional activities? Research object – The approach of social educators to television programs as a delinquent behavior forming premise and their opportunities in preventive work. The aim of the research – to reveal the attitudes of social educators to television programs as a delinquent behavior forming premise and their opportunities in preventive work. Methods of the research. The qualitative study, data was collected using interviews. Qualitative survey data were processed by the content analysis. The study used expert method to determine the validity of research results. Sample of the research. Qualitative study sample consisted of two social workers, working in schools and child day care center and six social educators. The study results revealed that TV is not a source of public information only, but it acts as a determinant setting up value scale and behavioral patterns, as well. Permanent promotion of crime and disasters, advert for usage of alcohol and drug encourages children to use aggressive models of behavior in real life. It was set up that delinquent behavior in school manifests by disrespectful and aggressive behavior with peers / adults, indifference, lying and school nonattendance, smoking. Effective measures dealing with delinquent adolescents - an individual work method. In order to reduce the negative impact of television programs it’s desirable to take preventive measures in the closest teenager’s environment, and by TV producers, as well. As the most actual prevention measure that was pointed out is - film viewing and content analysis in conjunction with the time limitation of TV watching. For the TV producers it is offered wisely to choose the programs broadcast time, to actualize more positive content of programs and to give more information to the parents concerning content and possible effects on their children (in the form of leaflets).
