This master‘s final work analyses economic efficiency of AB ,,Akmenės cementas“ investments in The Dry Process of Production. The paper describes in detail the essence and classification of investments, functions and significance in economy. It presents and aggregates the methods and principles and problems of investment effectiveness. Risk is an integral part of each business, especially for innovative investment projects. This master‘s work formulates the main types of risks, problems of risk management, analyses and structures various authors theoretical and practical methods of risk management highlighting advantages and disadvantages. In the practical part of this work investment in the dry process of production cost-effectiveness are being analysed by using the net present value, payback period, internal and modified rate of return, profitability ratios and efficiency methods. There was performed the research of risk by using sensitivity, scenario methods. The study estimates the investment risk, identifies risk factors, presents the risk evaluation and monitoring model as one of possible risk management strategies.
