The importance and compatibility among visibility and verbality are analyzed; there has been tried to determine how scientific facts are arranged together with poetic imagination; important defects of cognitive books about nature are revealed. While analyzing cognitive children’s literature about nature the philological, semiotic, communicational and descriptive methods were used. The compatibility among scientific facts and poetic imagination, the boundary between child and adult, nature in cognitive text for children, icon text, picture books, photography and conception of semiotic text are described in theoretical part. The significance of compatibility among visibility and verbality in cognitive children’s publications is revealed in practical part. The main research results of cognitive publications about nature are shown in conclusions. Two ways of information presentation are combined: visual and verbal. The meaning’s effect is created when this information joins together. Artistry and science are blend with each other in texts, therefore not only facts are arranged but the reader is attracted and biased. There are didactic and game strategies in publications.
