Abstract

dc:description

Nowadays, when amount of information grows and electronics technologies develops fast, there is a need to manage and monitor equipment not leaving room or remotely. The objective of the bachelor‘s project was to design, build a recuperator control graphic screen.Reviewed the technologies used in similar products. Most of products use Modbus protocol for communication and has TFT LCD screen with resistive touch for output and user input, ARM architecture processors with 2D/3D accelerator for better performance, power management for better energy savings, RAM and NAND memories. After reviewing data from an overview of the technologies used in other devices, designed structural diagram. Processor is the main part of diagram which controls all peripheral devices. Ethernet controller will provide HTTP access, RS-232 and RS-485 ports for debugging and controlling recuperator’s control block, SD Card for software updates, RTC for date and time, LCD module with touch screen for output and user input. RAM will extend CPU built in RAM and NAND FLASH is used to store OS and software data.
