The aims of the thesis are mixed joint universality theorems for Dirichlet L-functions and Hurwitz type zeta-functions, i.e., theorems on simultaneous approximation of a collection of analytic functions by shifts of Dirichlet L-functions which have Euler's product over primes and by shifts of Hurwitz type zeta-functions which have no the Euler product. The problems are the following: 1. A mixed joint universality theorem for Dirichlet L-functions and Hurwitz zeta-functions; 2. A mixed joint universality theorem of Dirichlet L-functions and periodic Hurwitz zeta-functions; 3. The universality of composite functions of a collection of Dirichlet L-functions and Hurwitz zeta-functions; 4. The universality of composite functions of a collection of Dirichlet L-functions and periodic Hurwitz zeta-functions.
