The hypothesis of the work is that both men and women receive different return from investing in human capital. The theoretical part of the work presents the key points, related to the problem of human capital definition, the conception of investing in higher education and different forms of it, investments in education costs and benefits. The empirical part of the work assessed the formed hypothesis that both men and women receive different return from investing in higher education, but regardless of gender aspect the higher return from investments in education is when a person has a higher income and receives lower costs of higher education. Researches discovered that man has more benefits from the same higher education than woman. One of the deciding factor, which influences the investments for the rate of return to education, is the wage gap between different genders. The other factors are the cost of education and the wage level. In summary, people having similar income receive different return for the different cost of education and people having higher wage receive higher rate of return from investing in higher education.","abstract_html":"The aim of final work of master is to evaluate the return from investments in human capital in higher education context after discussing it in the theoretical aspect.
