Discipline of learners in all schools has been and is still regarded as a very important and valuable cornerstone of learning. This study was influenced by the level of discipline in schools and it has become a concern to teachers. The purpose of this study was to investigate factors that influence discipline in secondary schools in Namakgale Circuit. The study adopted a qualitative research method. The population of the study included teachers and learners in secondary schools in Namakgale Circuit. The sample size of twenty-four (24) participants (teachers and learners) were randomly selected from the six secondary schools. The sample consisted of 2 teachers and 2 learners both male and female from each secondary school. The structured questions were used to collect data from the participants in which interviews were conducted. After data collection, the thematic analysis method was involved to organize data, generating categories, searching for explanations of the data and then writing a report.
