However, the existing literature does not provide a clear and meaningful idea of what can be considered a “long” or “short” oral surgical treatment. Further clarification of the duration of “long” treatments is needed to better understand and interpret the results of studies in this regard. The study aims to determine the prevalence and characteristics of different methods of local and general anaesthesia in day dental surgery and maxillofacial surgery.
