Dental Photography in Modern Prosthetic Dentistry // Фотографията в съвременната протетична дентална медицина

Dental photography is part of scientific photography. It is an established and more sensitive method of clinical research suitable for any area of dentistry. The application of this method for clinical and research purposes is bound to fixed criteria of camera settings and photography algorithms which are currently lacking in Bulgaria. We put forward the use of a criteria setting the boundaries of unified general requirements for dental imaging. Such criteria provides theoretical framework for comparing the photographic material needed for the present study. The study raised a significant interest among dental practitioners, dental technicians and students. Dentists do not use yet written forms of informed consent for photo material but still use photography in daily practice.
