The Midwife in Family Advisory Services with Priority on Women's Health in Marginalized Groups /// Акушерката в семейно-консултативната дейност с приоритет женското здраве сред маргиналните групи

[EN] Aim of the thesis is to analyse family-advisory services of the midwife in our health care system to improve women's health with a focus on marginalized groups of society and a model of family counselling adequate to their needs. Basic research thesis: Deficits in health care for pregnant women and mothers of small children require the development of autonomous functions of the midwife through traditional and innovative care model aimed at overcoming inequalities in the provision of family-advisory work among marginalized groups. Regulating midwifery consultation activity will contribute to safe motherhood and women’s healthcare status in marginalized groups of society. The study covers 631 interviewees divided into five groups of respondents.
