Health, Well-Being and Psychological Support for Heart Failure Patients // Здравно благополучие и психологическа подкрепа при пациенти със сърдечна недостатъчност
Abstract
dc:descriptionHeart failure is the final stage of the development of a previous cardiovascular disease, characterized by a high level of mortality, disability and morbidity in the population and emerging adverse dynamics. One of the ways to deal with the severe and progressive course of the disease is the monitoring and follow-up of the condition of patients with heart failure. This makes it possible to optimize the management of the disease, favourably affects the prognosis, and reduces rehospitalizations and mortality. Factors that aggravate the condition can be controlled and optimized. The nurse's role in ambulatory control and heart failure monitoring has not been studied to date, and there are no designated structures for providing cardiac nursing care in practice. The relevance of the thesis subject is determined by the possibility of the nurse alone or in a multidisciplinary team to track, monitor and educate patients with heart failure, as well as to carry out activities related to secondary and tertiary prevention of cardiovascular diseases. The search for and creation of organizational models for cardiac nursing care is an innovative approach to the clinical and theoretical development of health care professionals with the possibility of specialization and certification.
