No less important are the reactions that use the already obtained iodine-substituted compounds for the synthesis of much more complex ones. In addition, in view of the apparent deficiency of iodine-containing contrast agents, the synthesis of new organoiodic compounds is extremely valuable and significant. Syntheses have been carried out, and the structural features and biological properties of a series of new organoiodic substances have been studied. Their potential in the synthesis of other substances has also been assessed. The dissertation examines the preparation and characterization of a new organoiodic compound - 2,6-diiodo-3,4,5-trimethoxybenzoic acid (DITMBA). Its unique spectral behaviour has been established, as well as the optimal reaction conditions allowing the synthesis of DITMBA in maximum yield (≥98%) and extremely high (≥99%) purity. The co-crystallizing ability of DITMBA against four N-containing pharmacopoeial agents was determined. Не по-малко значение имат и реакциите, които оползотворяват получените вече йодозаместени съединения за синтеза на много по-сложно устроени такива. Освен това, с оглед на явния дефицит на йодосъдържащи контрастни агенти, синтезът на нови органойодни съединения е изключително ценен и значим. Проведени са синтези и са изследвани структурните особености и биологичните прояви на серия нови органойодни вещества. Оценен е и техният потенциал в синтеза на други вещества. Дисертационния труд разглежда получаването и охарактеризирането на ново органойодно съединение - 2,6-дийодо-3,4,5-триметоксибензоена киселина (DITMBA). Установени са основните закономерности в неговото уникално спектрално поведение, както и оптималните реакционни условия, позволяващи синтеза на DITMBA в максимален добив (≥98%) и с изключително висока (≥ 99 %) чистота. Определена е съкристализиращата способност на DITMBA спрямо четири N-съдържащи фармакопейни представителя.
