As part of the research, an experimental program, "Midwives in Support of Motherhood", was conducted with women who gave birth in Varna to identify the need, organizational aspects of obstetric care after childbirth, and the midwife's role in their implementation. Patients convincingly state their need for midwifery support as a way to achieve security and peace of mind in the postpartum period.
