This thesis aims to fill the gap within the Welsh food heritage and the museum studies landscape. The impact that food has made within communities, and the communities that food traditions have arisen from. This study shows the ways in which food heritage has adapted through locality, historical and colonial impact and the ways in which Welsh museums have represented that change and to what extent.
