The main research questions were developed in line with empirical and practice-related research gaps. Environmental innovativeness was also examined within the main variables to address empirical research gaps supported by industry-related justifications. According to the research questions developed, four hypotheses were tested after collecting the data through a survey of 104 respondents since the study population is very less in numbers. The key objectives were to examine the interrelationship between the Green Value Chain Adaptation on innovation and sustainable performance, while mediating effect of environmental innovation was also tested. The study used a deductive approach to conduct the study supported by quantitative research strategy.
