For the immediate release ginseng chewable tablets, the content and types of tableting materials, as well as coating materials, coating temperature, curing time and coating level, were optimized. For the sustained release amino acid pellets, coating level and curing time on, as well as the composition of ethyl cellulose (EC), were optimized.
