Automated transmission line fault analysis the SMT method
Abstract
dc:description.abstractAnalyzing faults from transmission lines automatically using a computer is a complex, multi-step process that takes a literal understanding of how the computer reads the data. While there are many ways to approach this problem (e.g.. Inductance Calculation), the Square Mean Test method allows for quick, and efficient calculations of any files read in from Intelliruptors. These calculations are then grouped and classified together outside of this project to prioritize faults that need to be looked at.
