Acquaintances and Other Stories

Abstract

dc:description.abstract

Acquaintances and Other Stories includes a critical preface and short story collection, both of which explore isolation as a theme. The stories speak to the loss of control and fear that often comes with isolation. The collection was heavily influenced by the COVID-19 pandemic and my reading of several authors, including Kristen Roupenian, Patricia Highsmith, Clair Vaye Watkins, among others.
