Abstract
dc:description.abstract<p>The organizational setting for this improvement project was for an urban, safety net public hospital dedicated to ongoing medical and nursing education. The role of the clinical nurse leader was introduced to the comprehensive breast center radiology staff and physicians to support a new quality initiative to optimize screening for high risk women. The project was conducted in the breast imaging microsystem and in collaboration with the genetic counseling and cancer risk assessment team</p>
