After working at Gleeson Library's Periodicals Department for three years, Thacher was my distraction, lunch break room , and temporary office. Most importantly, it was my classroom. I took a Gallery Practicum for one semester during my senior year to help mount the 13th Art+ Architecture Annual, a juried student exhibition, award ceremony, and gallery reception. During my experience, I directly contributed to Thacher's visibility and and student engagement on campus, which is how I noticed a lack of participation from my peers. I seek to help Thacher maximize access .and awareness to its diverse audiences, and encourage more involvement through interactive collaborations.
