Abstract
dc:description.abstract<p>This study investigates the circumstances which led to the establishment of the first educational institutions in Baja California Norte, and traces in particular the history of the first school in Tijuana, in order to provide the reader with a substantive, informative, and well documented study of the early stages of public education in Baja California Norte.</p>
