This quantitative descriptive study looks at utilizing the application “Glucose Buddy” designed for diabetic patients, available on Apple devices, and identified if the application is easy to use for any type of user and the security of the application to protect potentially sensitive health data. The navigation and ease of use of any application should be simple for any type of user (Bay &amp; Ziefle, 2005). The study only required that the individual was able to interact and cognitively accept the application. Results show that 91% found the application easy to use and navigate without a tutorial.
