Military veterans transitioning back into civilian life and postsecondary education face unique challenges and have unique needs. Different campuses offer a variety of Veteran Administration and other student veteran-centered programs. This thesis examines the empirically supported college and university programs for veterans, what psychological and physical challenges student veterans may face, what the components of the best student veteran programs are, and what the needs are for additional program evaluation.
