Seven formations of predominantly clastic carbonate composition were mapped in the vicinity of the southern portion of Martins Ridge. A limited petrographic study of the Tertiary volcanic rocks was conducted.</p> <p>Martins Ridge is a normal-faulted, west-dipping homocline conical evidence suggest that Antelope Valley is a graben containing approximately 2,000 feet of valley fill.
