But, nowadays, both on reservations and in urban settings, a small majority (about 56%) of them use the same types of architectural space as any other Americans. For example, HUD homes on the reservations, apartment complexes and small houses in cities, sometimes Public Housing. This research will explore a way to improve American Indians housing conditions while accentuating the need for sustainable and affordable housing in harmony with the tribal environment, because they bring a unique cultural heritage to urban society; For the purpose of the study, I created a questionnaire for the intention of the American Indians living in the Greater Las Vegas area. The survey is written to measure the most common housing needs and family member' satisfaction with their current housing status; Also, I actively participated in some housing projects on the Santo Domingo reservation in New Mexico and for the Las Vegas Indian Center.
