The study will examine the film history of each character, analyze which myths these characters perpetuate, and attempt to explain the impact such myths have on a given audience; To gain a better understanding of society, scholars need to examine the books people read, the music they listen to, and the films they watch. It is the hope that this study will lend a greater insight to the importance of cultural myth and its significance in reinforcing American values and beliefs.
