A hedonic price model is employed to observe changes in sales prices related to housing characteristics within a sample of homes from Las Vegas, Nevada. The results show HUD properties and the properties of houses in close proximity to HUD-sold properties sell for significantly less than similar houses located elsewhere in the county.
