dc:description.abstractAn Overview of Local, State and Federal Regulations Imposed Upon Political Advertising discusses the 1991 policy revisions enacted by the Federal Communications Commission that effect political advertising. In addition, considerable attention is devoted to how the judicial system has treated cases dealing with a variety of political advertising issues ranging from the posting of campaign signs to assuring that proper sponsorship identification appears on campaign materials.
