<p>The effects of herbicides, timing, and rates on the introduction of alfalfa (Medicago sativa L.) into six stands of alfalfa at varying stages of decline were investigated.</p><p>Alfalfa was seeded on several dates from 25 April through 28 May 1979 with a Tye Pasture Pleaser('R) no-till seeder.
