I picked the order of stories for this collection based on chronology. The first story in the collection is the first piece I wrote for the program and the last piece in the collection is the last piece I wrote for the program. I did this because I believe that there is a clear progression in the quality of my writing and in the content displayed in the pieces. I have titled this collection of short stories FRINGES, because I believe that each story presents characters that live on the fringes of society.
