Abstract
dc:description.abstract“To see a world in a wild flower, to see yourself like a bodhi in a leaf”, this philosophical reflection springs from writings within the Vimalakirti Sutra. It claims that all phenomena have no root or result, without its history and future. The Vimalakirti Sutra is a Buddhist text which centers on the Buddhist meditator, Vimalakirti. The text is highly influential in the enlightenment of Buddhist philosophy, especially in East Asia. The piece mainly has two themes: the petal, and a shower of flower petals. The composer chooses to represent her vision about the Sutra.
