The House that Grief Built

This book-length collection of poetry weaves together themes of family, religion, food, gardening, and grief as experienced by the author and her relatives. Through the eyes of a first-generation American (on her mother’s side) and the daughter of a Greek Orthodox priest, the author utilizes imagery of nature and domesticity as she pursues independence and explores the metaphoric bridges that connect dreams and reality, disappointment and hope, estrangement and love.
