Requiem for Wandering Souls explores intercultural synthesis by merging traditional Korean ritual music with contemporary orchestral idioms. Inspired by Jongmyo Jeryeak and secular ritual textures, the work integrates Korea’s rhythmic and timbral heritage into a modern symphonic framework.
