The analysis of the clinical practice guidelines revealed that physicians do not use guidelines that they believe will not benefit their patients. This hampers the use of clinical practice guidelines for antibiotic resistance problems because many physicians do not accept that antibiotic resistance is a major problem; therefore, guidelines to address this problem would not be beneficial to their patients.
