All CRP diets were compared to a 50% dry rolled corn diet. Data suggests that ReadcoRTM processed wheat straw and corn fiber/wheat chaff (3:1) blend CRP with DDGS can replace corn and DDGS in a growing steer diets while providing similar gains (P>0.05). Steers fed the corn fiber/wheat chaff CRP diet and DDGS were less efficient than the corn diet (10%), while steers fed the wheat straw CRP diet were 25% less efficient.
