It is intended to assist them by rapidly generating alternative Friendly Course of Action (FCOA) options. This is a complex and difficult decision making task in which users make life and death decisions while being bombarded with information. Finally, two evaluations of Fox will be presented. The evaluations showed that Fox significantly increased the range of FCOA options considered by expert users. DAISY proved to be a very efficient and effective methodology for designing planning support systems.","abstract_html":"The use of the DAISY methodology will be illustrated in the design of a planning support system, Fox, for use by expert military planners.
