Thirty-one of the 38 identified professionals responsible for coordinating transition services for high school youths with visual disabilities enrolled in state residential schools responded to a three-part survey. The survey inquired about their professional background, institutional characteristics and their knowledge and use of specific SSI information and work incentive items. Respondents reported limited knowledge and utilization of all 11 SSI information and work incentive items in transition planning with their high school students.
