Based on logistic regression, three variables were significant predictors of litigation initiation: organizational climate, PTSD symptomology, and primary appraisal (demoralization). Participants in Study Two (n = 492) were part of a two-year follow-up of the litigant group described in Study One. Multinomial logistic regression identified three significant predictors of litigation persistence: PTSD symptomology, financial dependence, and education level.
