Taking into consideration the interaction of race, gender and ethnicity, the objective of the study is to learn about Chinese women's experiences of being a woman, being a Chinese, and being a mother and the construction of their identities in transnational context. Qualitative research methodology and ethnography are applied to disclose the impact of globalization and immigration on the lives of Chinese mothers.
